Tokyo to Osaka

Recently I had the pleasure of guiding a truly lovely family group from the Philippines!

They were lovely enough to agree to be my models and star in one of my blogs for TAS!

The Rosales Family (Including a brief visit from Brother Alan and Japanese wife Sachiko)

I was met with smiling faces at the airport as the small family got ready for their first taste of Japanese culture.

We spent our first full day trekking around Tokyo, visiting all the big sites such as Asakusa and the Sky Tree

The Sky Tree from the Sumida Riverside Park on another glorious Autumn day!

We also visited the Imperial Palace as well as Akihabara for some retain therapy, finishing the day off with a steaming hot bowl of Japanese style Ramen noodles, yum!

An assortment of delicious Japanese dishes: Abura Soba (Soup-less ramen), traditional Tonkotsu Ramen and Japanese Donburi (Rice based dish).

For those who are big food fans we also ate Japanese Sukiyaki, Edo period style fried fish/tenpura, Sukiyaki, Chanko Nabi (Sumo Hot Pot), Yakiniku and more!

Every tour is different of course, but we love to give you as much of the good stuff as we can so that you can go home with the flavors of Japan lingering on you

tongues. (My mouth is watering just thinking about it)

We took a ride on the Pirate boat in Ashino Late and took a breathtaking ride up the Owakudani Ropeway. The Koyo (Changing of the leaves) bring life to

the valleys and mountains of the Hakone area, painting the landscape in beautiful yellows, rich browns and vibrant reds.

We were lucky enough to have a spectacular view from the top of Mt. Fuji on the day we went up, with the land opening up for miles and miles.

After the Hakone area we headed to Kyoto where the colors are in true full season, but not before stopping off at the Toyoto Car Museum in the Nagoya area.
